I came in a lot earlier than 4 p.m. which is check in time, but after talking with the clerks the guy checked my room and it was ready! I was so happy. The room was right next to the stairs which I thought...eeehh....but I can't believe I am saying this about the room, it was the quietest motel I have ever stayed in. In fact it is quieter than my apartment, which seems to have bowling balls dropping for hours each night. There was a small patio outside with chairs, table and pop machine in a small room off of it. I ate dinner outside that first night. I really loved this motel. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. They had a frig and micorwave next to a closet. That was a surprise, I went and bought some groceries to help save with the food buying.

Super clean very large room with very comfortable beds. Good lighting in bathroom, with a makeup mirror. The lodge has a western theme so the walls were buttercream or tan, with a brown hued carpet & furniture and the marble in the bathroom was yellow/brown hues. I thought it would be dark and overwhelming but it wasn't, it was tastefully done and the beds had modern, not western bedding/linens. Easy parking and easy check in and out. It is right along Hwy 1 so I thought it would be noisy, but when the window was closed (has a screen so you could keep it open) it was silent. And the AC worked well, too. TV worked well too and had the sports channels to watch the baseball playoffs. I would totally return.

Ronald the owner was nice & friendly & has a awesome little family. We've stayed here before & will stay here again. We've tried several other places over the years & LOVE IT HERE. Nice, very clean, well kept & everything is updated & works good. The beds & linens are exceptionally nice & always clean. No traffic to worry about, no strangers out walking around, not in a row of motels but hidden in a quiet neighborhood about half a mile down the road from Dennis The Menace Park & The Warf. The only downside is that it's often sold out fast & getting a room or an extra day is hard because of all the repeat customers like us. WE LOVE THIS PLACE & PEOPLE, AWESOME INDEED.❤️❤️❤️

It was a last minute booking as we were on our road trip en route to San Francisco. Staff were friendly. We didn't really explore what's around this location but we had a car rental so it was close to the places we drove to. Very nice and quiet. Comfortable bed, reasonable size of bathroom. On our day of check out, there was power cut and it was raining and really windy outside. So it was still quite dark and it was an interesting experience trying to get ready in the dark with our phones as the torches lol.

I love the location. It is easy walking and driving distance to the annual tournament I attend at the Hyatt. Also convenient driving distance every morning for sunrise at the harbor, drives around the Pacific Grove coast and many excellent evening dining locations. I think the rooms are equal to or better than those at the Hyatt, and quieter. Hotel management is exceptionally helpful and accommodating year over year.
